Google has recently partnered with 6 food delivery providers across the United States to allow you to quickly place online orders directly from a Search Engine Results Page (SERP). Individuals searching for local restaurants will see “Place an Order” link appear on restaurants the service is available from. Then the user just needs to tap the preferred delivery service and place their order.
Google has partnered with the following delivery service firms:
- Seamless
- Grubhub
- Eat24
- Delivery.com
- BeyondMenu
- MyPizza.com
In addition to the “Place an Order” feature, google has also rolled out make a reservation or an appointment feature directly from the Search Engine Results Page. Enabling this feature is easy and can be done within your My Business page on google.
